Overview of the AVMATRIX PVS0403U Video Switcher

The PVS0403U 4-Channel SDI & HDMI Video Switcher from AVMATRIX is a video switcher as well as audio mixer for professional results. With two SDI and two HDMI autodetected inputs, this switcher has powerful features with a easy-to-operate interface. It's features include chroma keying, luma keying, audio mixing, mix/fade/wipe effects, and picture-on-picture (PoP) / picture-in-picture (PiP) layout. You also get auto and transitions or smooth video switching using the T-bar.

The PVS0403U allows for video switching up to 1080p60 video with embedded audio or with additional audio from up to two analog stereo 3.5mm mic/line inputs. With a multiview HDMI output you can preview your functions on an additional monitor. Additionally, it provides one with two HDMI program outputs thus enabling the simultaneous sending of signals to a display for live events and a recording terminal for editorial consideration. There is also a USB-C video output to connect to a computer for video capture and livestreaming, while a LAN port enables you to control the switcher using software via IP. Logo overlays are supported from a variety of different image file formats, including PNG, JPG, and BMP, and you have the option of capturing up to 16 screenshots and storing up to 16 images using the USB-A input with 39 default patterns and two color generators. A tally interface supports GPIO, still frame, mute, and fade-to-black (FTB) functionality.

• Upstream and Downstream Keying

Chroma and luma keys are supported making it possible to key off black and green/blue background colors for studio or live event applications.

• USB Capture for Streaming

You can connect this switcher to a computer using the USB-C output port for livestreaming to social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook etc using software like PotPlayer or OBS.
